2012 Street Projects
Eastside Pathway
The Eastside Pathway that routes from Main Avenue to Zeeland Community Hospital is now open. For a map of the route, please click on the link below:
The complete resconstruction of Roosevelt from State Street to Fairview Avenue is currently underway. As part of this project, a center-turn lane will be added along with new water main, storm sewers, sanitary sewer improvements (west of Centennial only), curb & gutter as well as bike path and sidewalk installation on the south side of the road. The first phase of the project currently underway is from State St. to the approximate Centennial intersection. This phase is projected to be complete around mid-July 2013. After that, construction from Centennial to Fairview will commence with a projected completion date of approximately late October 2013. A project overview presentation is available at the link below.
